2 and 3

My boys celebrated their 2nd & 3rd birthday last Nov 26, 2008. How time really flies. Nothing compares to having your kids kiss you and say "I love you" without asking them to do so, never been so HAPPY!

our story...

It all started over puto bumbong and gulaman in a midnight sale at Alabang Town Center...the memory is still vivid for it was not so long ago. That was December 17, 2003, our first so called date. After satisfying our palates with the said delicacy. We went strolling the stretch of Alabang going to DBP Village (where I live)...the longest walk I ever had with heels on but that was such a magical night - I enjoyed every step I took with this funny guy walking along with me...and the rest is a wonderful love story. We have known each other for over a year now, being members of the GHC Choir. At first we were just in speaking terms, then we became eating buddies (he finishes up my food) and then I found myself constantly laughing at his jokes and exchanging glances with this lad. He told me that he is not fond of sending text messages but I received the most warm messages from him. I remember, when my grandfather died and I failed to attend our choir practice...he told me that the choir misses me and in reply I teased him that I dont think it's the choir but he who misses me much. I thought all the while his sweet gestures were just his usual moves and he treats everyone in the same manner but in the long run I came to know that his intention towards me is something (deeply) serious "this must be love!". I found a true friend in Rommel - through my tough times, he's been there to give me strength. He is the guy Mills and Boone had described to me when I was a teener. He is the guy I want to be with for the rest of my life and only with him I will say "I Do!" forever!

How time flies...

"I guarantee there'll be tough times. I guarantee that at some time, one or both of us is gonna want to get out of this thing. But I also guarantee that if I don't ask you to be mine, I'll regret it for the rest of my life, because I know, in my heart, you're the one for me."

- from the movie, Run Away Bride

they help me breathe

it's frustrating to hear not so nice things about you and no matter what you do, they will still have something to say against you. Though we really can't please everybody but still somehow it affects us from within. Exhale...Good thing I have my support system i.e. my family, wife & kids, friends and God that I can run to everytime I have to let go of my emotions. I just hope some people would be more considerate and affectionate. Peace y'all.

Children Learn What They Live

If children live with criticism,
They learn to condemn.
If children live with hostility,
They learn to fight.
If children live with ridicule,
They learn to be shy.
If children live with shame,
They learn to feel guilty.
If children live with encouragement,
They learn confidence.
If children live with tolerance,
They learn to be patient.
If children live with praise,
They learn to appreciate.
If children live with acceptance,
They learn to love.
If children live with approval,
They learn to like themselves.
If children live with honesty,
They learn truthfulness.
If children live with security,
They learn to have faith in themselves and others.
If children live with friendliness,
They learn the world is a nice place in which to live.

In Pursuit of Happyness

Three years and twenty one days to be exact
D day when we finally tied the knot
You just don't know how much it means to me
I'm truly blessed the Lord made you my wife.

As a song goes...life's a very long road
There'll be tough times as we grow old
But I guarantee that I'll always be here,
Even when the road is rough, will never disappear

I don't ask for much in life,
Just for ian, raprap and you, my wife
We will always be happy
And everything is gonna be alright.

I'm just glad I asked you to be mine
Or else I'll regret it for the rest of time
Because I know, in my heart
You and I must never be apart.

Ode to my wife...

bed weather

to be honest, this isn't actually my first attempt to blog but rather at least my 3rd to be exact (friendster, tripod and blogger) coz I have this ningas cogon attitude with regards to blogging but nonetheless I guess this will help me cope up with stress, angst, and negative vibes around me. Let me first introduce you to my world. I am a happy married man with 2 kids and a fabulous wife, wonderful family and great friends. Just like everyone else, nobody's life is perfect, just trying to live my life to the fullest though...
